Campground and Service Center Information

For many of Tiffin Motorhomes customers, an annual trip to Red Bay, Ala., is just part of the itinerary.

 

Tiffin’s customer service is widely regarded throughout the industry and its 

complete full-line service center is one of the reasons why.

 

Our Service Center serves about 100 customers per week through 49 service bays, ranging from specialty items such as; cap repairs, slide out and floor repairs, tile and windshield work and more.

 

 

Crews make daily rounds throughout the campground so customers who need minor work can receive that without going through a repair bay. The service center moved to a “first come, first serve” basis several years ago so “pop-in” customers in the campground did not continue to be pushed further behind.

 

“We were always moving in customers who had appointments so people staying here in the campground would sometimes wait four to six weeks and we just needed to make sure that they were better taken care of than that,” said service center manager Wade Humphres. Work completed at the Service Center ranges from minor repairs to major overhauls, depending on the customer’s needs. “We do everything right here,” Humphres said.

The Tiffin Allegro Campground offers full hookups for customers staying onsite so their time in Red Bay can be as enjoyable as possible.

 

A daily email is sent to all customers registered at the service center so they will have an expectation of when their time for service will come. “I think it helps customers and our staff because everyone has a better understanding of what they can expect that day,” Humphres said.

 

“People will know then if they will be getting into one of the bays that day or not. Hopefully, it allows the customers to feel a little better knowing that they can come and go and not worry about us coming through. Although we do work on motorhomes even if the owners are not there that day, many of them feel like they need to be here so they wait. We want to ease their minds a little so they feel free to enjoy themselves while they are in the area.”
